Violation of behavior (from the Latin deviatio - off) - committing actions, which contradict the norms of social behaviour in any society.
In studies of deviant behavior significant place is given to the study of his motives, reasons and conditions conducive to the development of capabilities for prevention and overcoming.
Crime as a type of deviant behavior is studied mainly criminology with the use of psychological research.

For the prevention of deviant behavior should be from the early years to inculcate respect for the moral norms and to develop the moral habits.
In accordance with the theory of anomie R. Merton, a breach of conduct arises first of all, when socially accepted and asked values cannot be achieved by a certain part of the society. In the context of the theory of socialization, to deviant behavior tend to the people, socialization which took place in the conditions of the promotion or disregard of individual elements of deviant behavior (violence, immorality). In the theory of stigma, it is believed that the emergence of deviant behavior becomes possible already with only one definition of the individual as a socially deviant and apply in relation to him repressive or corrective measures.

The reasons of violations of conduct
In the study of the causes of deviant behavior there are three types of theories: the theory of physical types, psychoanalytic theory and sociological or cultural theory.
1. The basic premise of all of the theories of the physical types lies in the fact that certain physical traits of personality predetermine committed by its various deviations from the norm. Among the followers of the theory of physical types can be called H. Lombroso, E. Kretshmer, V. Sheldon. In the works of these authors, there is one main idea: people with certain physical Constitution tend to make social deviations, condemnable society. However, the practice showed the theory of physical types. All known cases, when individuals with the face of a cherub committed the most heinous crimes, and the individual with rough, "criminal" features could not hurt a fly.
2. In the basis of psychoanalytic theories of criminal behaviour is the examination of conflicts occurring in the mind of the individual. According to the theory of H. Freud, each person under a layer of active consciousness is the unconscious - it is our psychic energy, in which the focus of all natural, primitive. Man is able to protect themselves from their own natural "illegal" status by forming his own, I, as well as the so-called super-I, determined by the culture of the company. However, the condition may occur when the internal conflicts between the I and unconscious, as well as between the super-I and unconscious destroy the protection and out breaks our inner being, not knowing the culture of the content. In this case, it may happen deviation from cultural norms developed by the social environment of the individual.
3. In accordance with sociological or cultural, theories individuals become deviants, as the processes of running their socialization in the group are unsuccessful in relation to some definite standards, and these failures affect the internal structure of the personality. When the processes of socialization successful, the individual first adapts to its cultural norms, then takes them so that sanctioned by the norms and values of the company or the group becomes his emotional need, and bans of culture part of his consciousness. He perceives the culture so that is automatically valid in the expected manner of behavior most of the time. The error of an individual rare, and all others know that they are not his normal behaviour. The presence in the everyday practice of a large number of conflicting standards, the uncertainty in connection with this, a possible choice of a line of conduct may lead to a phenomenon called the er. Durkheim anomie (state of norms). On Durkheim anomia is a condition in which the individual has no hard feelings, no reliability and stability in the select line of normative behavior.
Robert K. Merton made some changes in the concept of anomie proposed by Durkheim. He believes that the cause of the deviation is the gap between the cultural objectives of the company and socially legitimate (legal or institutional) means of achieving them. For example, while the society supports the efforts of their members in the pursuit of wealth and high social status, legal means to members of the company to achieve such a state is very limited: when a person cannot acquire the wealth with the help of talent and abilities (legal means), he may resort to deception, fraud or theft, is not accepted by the society.
